Weird ATC issues since SU12

Ever since the update the game is treating every airport, even major international airports, as though they don’t have a tower, just reporting instead of requesting clearances. I can tune centers but that’s it, I can’t tune ground, tower, approach, or atis anywhere, either from the atc window or entering frequencies manually. Has anyone else encountered this one since updating?

Do you use Navigraph? If so its very sensitive to how it is removed. Just in case that is the issue, I would try the following:

Shut the sim down.
Do an install of Navigraph data.
Now remove that data using the installer. Do not just delete the folders from the “Community” folder.
Relaunch the sim, and re-test.

Thanks! It was the navigraph data causing it. Unfortunately I’d already removed the folders along with everything else for testing before I saw this, and now I do appear to have broken nav data for the sim. I let my navigraph subscription lapse some time ago, so I’m not able to access the navigraph installer app anymore. The guide for how to fix it and revert to base game nav data isn’t particularly helpful as there is no longer a content.xml file to delete, would you know any way I can work around this?

Interesting situation.

If I remember right, Asobo didn’t go into much detail on how this new method works.

I have Navigraph up to date, and my “Content.xml” looks like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<Priorities>
  <Package name="navigraph-navdata-base" priority="1"/>
  <Package name="navigraph-navdata" priority="2"/>
</Priorities>

When I try to remove the nav data with the Navdata Centre app, I get this error message:

The file doesn’t actually get updated.

I’m going to assume this has already been reported on the Navigraph forums, but it would be worth checking. I’m going to try deleting that file to see what happens.

Yes, I appear to to have the same issue. Heathrow has no SID’s, yet Navigraph is loaded…apparently.

Navigraph yesterday evening (europe center time), published an update

I can see I have version 1.0.13 installed, and the download link points to 1.0.14, but the link doesn’t work, so perhaps exactly what they are working on right now.

I was able to restore the default navdata by deleting the “content.xml” file, then moving the Navigraph addons out of the “Community” folder.

With the file removed, and the addons hidden I now have restored access to default nav data:
