When AP goes off, by any chance do some the ones that reported the issue in that topic remember if it was right after having opened the VFR map ?. If yes then check out below post. Under some specific flight plan setup (don’t know which one), AP can make the plane turn around to go back to the previous waypoint in the flight plan by just opening the VFR map.
