No, from a RL pilot, it’s not realistic - ATC doesn’t behave that way. The “do this - now do this - now do this other thing - now fiddle-faddle-fiddle-faddle” nonsense has plagued sim “ATC” from time immemorial. And it’s why I’ve never found any sim ATC addon I could even BEGIN to want to use.
