Great topic. For me its the fantastic sights but the one that really struck me - how small Earth has been made thanks to airplanes. I mean look at what Zara Rutherford is doing right now. Going around the PLANET in a tiny little Shark airplane.
The big twin airliners and high end bizjets can do 15,000km+ . The A350ULR can do 17,000km.
The circumference of the entire planet is 40,000km, so you can see just how small the world has been made.
If you wanted to fly around the equator on a jet plane on a planet the size of Jupiter it would take you almost 3 weeks! (Jupiter circumference 469,264km)
Humbling perspective. Earth & moon from 1.44 billion km away. Pic was taken from the Cassini space probe sent to Saturn.
