Flew the A320NX on a “Red Eye” flight out of KELP to KLAS (Fly Tampa airport and city scenery addon)

Then dawn departure to the north

I flew from Innsbruck to Saint-Crépin LFNC in the A320. VFR approach, saves nagging from ATC and approach flight plans messing up. VFR flying into a valley is more fun anyways.

Taxi way is very skinny and I had to use the grass not to clip the building with the left wing

Fun approach, just wish the brightness could be dialed back a bit

very cool video. Flying a helo in the sim makes the sim like a completely new experience. It’s wonderful. I actually bought a warthog hotas just so I could fly better. It helps. My respect for helo pilots went through the roof. True skill there. Crazy mf’rs.

On a typical flight of SW England when just as I departed Southampton it got all laggy. At first I thought it was some scenery conflict. I valiantly plodded on when, at the end, near Newquay, the sim got all smooth as butter again (I fly Ultra, but turn off the motion blur - not my thing). Anyway, it was scenic as I checked out a pier and St Michael add-ons - one on the Isle of Wight the other near Penzance. As I fly real-time, here in Los Angeles, it is always late afternoon in Western Europe. I was wondering if my system had run a check - that used to mess up an FSX/P3D flight or if the Asobo/Microsoft servers were having a go with me. Neither has happened in a flight until recently. More as I find out. Meanwhile, Southampton - Isle of Wight - New Quay.

Was trying to diagnose an issue with HDR for another program, and came across a bit of info that indicated I should be using YCbCr422 and 10 bit color. I changed it chose 12 bit instead of 10 bit, wow, even more smoother now then it was before…Yeah I learned something new today ROFL!:

Flew London City Airport to Land’s End and back.
King Air 350 climbs real nice at 1600rpm and 160kts all the way to FL280. Timing not much worse than a jet on 300nm sectors and can get into the smaller airfields. Eco-cruise at 300TAS and 55% torque/ 1500rpm.

continuing the SE Asia tour, Port Moresby PNG to Jayapura West Papua, then on to WASS. The last one had no approach info, but I found a chart and used the VOR frequency and attempted to follow the descent procedure with zero visibility. Got to minimums and then onyl saw the runway on an island off to my left. Tried a 2nd time, but no joy. On to the alternate for the first time simming, for a nice CATIII landing again… in zero viz, and 600kg in the tank

Today, i made an appointment with a supercell. Went around it to have a kind of a landing challenge to EGLC by flying through it.

The supercell is one of the ‘hidden’ preset options. I used the weather preset mod made by @DNBOF, there is a thread about it here Supercell where you want it? Possible now in sim
