What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

I love that factory paint… their new one is just meh for me!

Looks pretty good as well! Don’t forget to perform a “wing wave” when you leave!

Zurich to Luxembourg with Asobo A320Neo in Swiss Livery.

And try another flight with F18 because i don’t know why he don’t turn :sob:

Flew along the Andes from Quito, Ecuador to Medellin, Columbia in the A320NEO.

These South American airports with their narrow taxiways and high terrain make for very scenic and dramatic approaches.

Had a very nice flight with wingflex and turbulence plus a very dramatic visual landing that included real world traffic heading straight at us on the runway after touchdown. We were cleared to land though. Not realistic but a bug that creates some unexpected events, sometimes tests your skill.

Diagnosing another bug…

Flew from KSBP to KLAS over the stormy mountains in the DA62.

Iced up badly and bouncing off the stall alarm for a large part of the first leg.

Was that ever unnerving, but fun!

That is one of those challenging rides, and fun. I thought the DA62 had de-icing. Does it work? I know the DA62 Improvement Mod does work. I have not tried out icing yet.

It has a de-ice system. What is difficult to tell is if it is actually working. I was too s*** scared to turn it off to see if it would get worse.

Since I’m on Xbox, I can’t run the improvement mod.

actually, I love flying all the retro painted A20N…from the time they where colourfull, and very representative of their country. Now they look all very much alike. Like you said, not specially ugly, but just…Meh :joy:

Headed south out of Youngstown Oh around sunrise:

Completed the second maiden voyage with the Cloudmaster, and confirmed a little bug of the heating system (the temperature does not go down when the heater`s fuel and master switch is switched off). This will surely be fixed soon for the highest amount of PMDG perfection as we all know and love it.

The Cloudmaster surely is one of the best airplanes ever developed, and what I learned in the tutorial video yesterday about how to handle the supercharger to climb up to 20.000 feet ceiling height and all the other flight engineer and engine-related stuff was mastered with perfection. Just the oil pressure went a little bit too high one time after the last engine maintenance, I am sure the precise manual has an explaination what went wrong.

Here are the screenshots…

This is how a TRUE cockpit panel should look like!

…or to speed up the process of preventing engine errors I could also ask of course… what should I do to prevent too high oil pressure in the future?

Quite a way south there albeit coming into the height of summer now.

Wonderful flight from Medellin, Columbia to Oranjestad, Aruba. Challenging visual departure to the South with a right turn before overlying the airport and city heading North towards the Caribbean Sea.

After the 1st leg up from Quito yesterday, we stayed overnight in a Medellin hotel and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. Tonight we have arrived to 28C on a Caribbean island just before sunset.

As expected there was a bug😂. The real world traffic into Aruba after our landing taxied off onto the grass. Not a bad flight by any means the ILS approach was working well. No black screens or CTD.

Just another “milk run” within Europe, from Frankfurt to Krakow Balice with a Lufthansa Airbus A320. I did have some weird situations this time around though!

Okay, what is going on with the Jetway here? I mean I’m sure any cattle class passengers would be very happy with such an arrangement but that can’t be healthy for the wings!

Company traffic pulling into Stand A40 in Frankfurt. Not really unusual, given FRA is Lufthansa’s home… except I’m running MSFS on Xbox Series S, so there are no real traffic adding available. I did purchase the Bredok livery pack for the A320 though. Has anyone else seen something like this?

Anyway, on with the flight!

Is that an airport DLC at Krakow, which one?

I have the Premium Deluxe edition of MSFS. That contains a detailed version of Frankfurt Airport. It’s not perfect, the bridges over the A3 Autobahn when taxiing in from Runway 25R/07L are disappointingly flat, but it is still a pretty good rendition of my former “home airport”.
