Part II of the Cote d’Azur flight… did a pick-up in the mountains, drizzly drop-off at a local clinic, took some gear to the nearby observatory, buzzed by Cannes, ran into a NATO flotilla, hit Monaco, and finished at Nice. Wondering if the payware has better helipads…

Took the 310R out for the first time, this just may be one of my top 5 favorite aircraft.
It’s beautifully textured and the aerodynamics/physics feel great in SU9.
Also depending on the wind conditions and weather, landing at KVAX can be absolutely nerve wrecking.
I thought Saint Barts was bad…

When the X-Box outage began Friday, before discovering that online, I foolishly uninstalled and attempted to reinstall the product. Which got me nowhere except for some aggravation. When X-box services came back online, I was able to reinstall the product (which even with my 1GB internet took over 3½ hours). I then dropped another $75 to “build out” my home area purchasing upgrades to the “New” LGA, EWR, and NYC buildings. Since I got a new 3060ti, I pushed my settings just a bit, and am loving this sim (I have close to 40 years with MSFS), all looks and works great, with my frame rates generally above 30, and rarely dipping into the 20s.

fly to Dunhuang Mogao Airport
Decided to fly Sydney to Perth via Uluru (Ayers Rock) in Concorde.
Ayers Rock looks pretty small from 60kft…
Sadly this is a far as I got because the sim had other ideas and a little while afterwards CTD. The end.
Later I tried to join with Flying Iron’s group flight in the wonderful Spitfire. Sadly after 1 CTD at the start I was some way behind the others and only just caught them up as we got to the end. Still the event was cool and fun.
Since SU9, flying Concorde has been about the only thing that mostly works for me, now I don’t even have that. Maybe I should just turn it off and wait for this desperately needed patch.

An A320 Wizz Air flight from Budapest to Catania Fontanarossa: everything worked fine
until the sim lost RNAV approach, so I disengaged AP and managed to fly it manually the last 15miles.

Turned off precache in usercfg.opt file and then did a 3 hour flight in the a320, then I did a couple of other of flights as well. No missing lod, no lod lines, and no significant FPS loss on the long flight. Woohoo?:

Took a nice flight in the Staggerwing down the Florida gulf coast and landed at KEYW. Fun plane to fly!
