Hey guys,
I have a question. I used to play fspassengers addon in fsx a lot. I liked the way that you got random failures on your aircraft when you saved money on maintainance for example. Is there a similar addon for fs2020? I googled a lot and found infos about onair, fseconomy, pacx etc. But all of them dont seem to have these specific addons. Or maybe im not reading accurately enough?
Would really be happy about some help.
I was looking for something like that was well. I discovered a bug where if you skip time with the Dahler you get engine failure. I have been using that as a feature and not a bug.
You could.
But then you would have to call it MSBS 2020.

That’s such a cool add-on, I did not even know that’s how they delivered air mail. Will for sure explore it when I’m looking for a new thing to do.

Today I made a 4 hour and 17 minute flight from KBNA (Nashville, Tennessee) to KPDX (Portland, Oregon). This is the longest flight I’ve made in the sim in over a year, and by far the smoothest and most satisfying, except for one odd issue when the plane turned onto final and did not capture the glideslope for an ILS landing. As it was pouring down rain with a ceiling of about 1,000’, this could have been problematic, lol. Fortunately, I had the runway in sight well before minimums, disconnected the Autothrottles and Autopilot and made a visual landing on Runway 28L.

Enjoyed a quick flight from KDEN to KPHX with my trusty co-pilot Otto, I love the showcase views on departure and final

At LICC, tried to see how high I could take the Turbo Arrow III. About up to FL330 apparently with 50% fuel and a pilot …
The ride down was quite something, all the drag:
Also my engine quite for a bit during the “descent” as I forgot to add mixture.
In the end, my landing was alright:
I really hope they fix the jittering on the Arrow during final (see: Pitch "jerks" | Just Flight Community)
Anyway … that was interesting. Up to FL250 it actually climbed fine at 1000 fpm. After that, it was a little tricky.

Spent about 4 hours doing all of the Maverick challenges and doing quite well even if I do say so myself. Only to have the game CTD when going back to main menu so I could quit and put the champions league final on. Put the SIM back on after said final
and low and behold all my earlier progress gone. D’en ma heed in

I made a flight from LTFM(Istanbul) to KSFO(San Fransisco) with A330-900Neo. I guess the flight time was 12:40 hours. Below you can find some images during the approach.

Repeated my experiment with the Darkstar, took it to 275k’ got it all the way up to mach 10.1, switched to dev mode choose the 208, and voila. Did an auto-restart, fell from 275-175k ’ the motor started continued in a flat spin until I hit 98k’ and finally recovered.
So much wrong with being able to do that, but it is funny, might be nice to try a glider, from 275k’ Im thinking it might just be a great ride ;p

I guess you will have to turn off all kind of damages, else the airframe falls apart at mach 10 in a glider, unless of course that glider is a space shuttle
Flew from Wajir (HKWJ) to Mogadishu (HCMM). The flight was quite uneventful, unsatisfying even as the ground below was not avilable or refused to download properly and big patches of land were weirdly pixelated. I did not make a photo of such cases, so below are only good shots of the flight
I guess the city is based on generic city “bricks”, I somehow doubt it being so nicely rectangularly ordered
The wind was quite gusty, but managed a smooth touchdown somehow

Well thats what I thought would happen to the f18 and the 208, but it didnt, so a glider should work the same all things being equal, I did it in OMG were going to die mode too, (except for fuel it was set to unlimited) and other then the flat spin it worked…

Took the Bandeirante out for a short hop from Tacoma Narrows (KTIW) up to Tofino (CYAZ) Then flew to Vancouver (CYVR) after landing and grabbing some more passengers.

Did the first leg of the Iberian bush trip. As before, doing a bush trip with the DA62 seems like cheating, but at least even I can do it
I had to come back in free flight to make this shot, but I think it’s really cute.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I guess that is an airplane with contrails engraved in the map

Wanted to do a longer flight in the Turbo Arrow III, but the auto-pilot went a little bit crazy. It really wanted me to do some barrel rolls but I wasn’t really into that at 1000 ft AGL.
But I re-loaded the saved flight again, this time first changing the state to “PREFLIGHT_PUSHBACK”, and then it behaved fine. It was set to “LANDING_TAXI” or something silly.

Normally, I change both the flight state and the Weather section after every save, to work-around the stupid load saved flight bugs:
I think this, combined with the Arrow’s “State Save”, messed up the auto pilot.

I proceeded with my flight, from LICC to LIEE and it’s a 184 nm leg over sea with a GS of 140 kts, this is taking a while.
All the while keeping altitude steady and switching fuel tanks, and dealing with an occasional instance weather change.
Anyway, I must make better choices …
