What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

I am currently flying a Cessna 172 SkyHawk G1000 from KDFW to KLBB. About a 3 hour flight. (Dallas, TX to Lubbock, TX). Using live weather so I am experiencing some turbulence at 7K feet.

Darakma to Yigi airstrips, Papua, Indonesia

Tried the A320 from FBW. I managed to start it, taxi it, and take-off, but after that I was confused and suddenly at 300 kts.

Anywaaaay, I’ll stick to less complicated stuff for now, but I’ll be back!

Flew from Orlando International to Key West International in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000. The 172 G1000 is hands down my favorite plane in the game. Easy to fly and the G1000 makes navigating a breeze.

Today I’m unfortunately playing the loading game lottery. Sometimes it’s Not Responding on the loading screen and sometimes crashes on the World Map.

Hopefully I can get in this morning….I’ve got a flight to catch!

Hi there, just wanted to share that yesterday I completed my longest “Around the World” trip, using an Airliner (A320), and VR (G2).
Starting and ending point: my hometown, Barcelona (LEBL).
I have visited (I think) all the non-European airports where I have been as a passenger IRL (Americas, Asia, Australia) and many many more which I would like to visit some day. The journey was made westbound, across the Atlantic, the Americas, then Asia and the Pacific, Oceania, more Asia, Middle-East, and back home.

  • 142 Flights, of which:
    • FBW 320NX (Development version): 112
    • Fenix 320CEO: 30 (the last part of the trip)
  • Distance flown (LittleNavMap, assuming direct paths point to point): 107,762 Nm
  • Time span: 16/01/2022 to 29/06/2022 (not every day flying, some days two or three flights)
  • Most flights with increased sim rate (2x or 4x) during cruise, since I do not have enough free time for my hobby to do real timed flights.
  • 10 flights with CTD during flight / taxi, this is 7% rate. Most CTD from January / February, and some of them related to the FBW. The rest, a few caused by connection errors (server-side?) and one or two the “memory-cannot-be-accessed error”
  • Visual performance and stability improved all over these months, specially thanks to the amazing OXR Toolkit for WMR

Overall, I could’t be much happier about how MSFS is developing, especially thanks to these two amazing airliners (freeware FBW and payware Fenix).

On my way to Gibraltar I flew from Carthag airport (DTTA) to Houari Boumediene (DAAG).

I had wonderful weather, I love flying in layered clouds so the 55min flight was over in a breeze.

I had a funny moment approaching DAAG. I was on a superb straight landing line, doing optimal speed and descent and was wondering why ATC did not give the clearing to land, when it dawned on me that I was told to fly left downwind to rinway 09… So I was flying straight against take off direction. Tower surely loved me for this…

So I did my left hand round, got clearance and just as I was landing, this giant of an airliner taxied onto the runway, not even slowing down before it. Luckily the brakes of the Albatros were fine and I was able to make a full stop before crashing into it.

Fooled around with my new toy

Looks ridiculously easy to fly, but the smallest gusts, even as much as a sneeze makes it wobble around
