It was actually quite a challenge, especially in the NXCub. Gusts affect these light aircraft greatly. Feels much easier to land the Albatros and not just because I landed it more times
From RJTT (default, revised by karuchie at flightsim.to) to RJOT-Takamatsu (by KADO). AI traffic by AIG.
I always prefer posts like this that tell good stories and show the work of creators as well as default. Cheers!
Today I did my first flight in the 787-10, and man was it ever a neat trip! This was also my first time flying with my custom Canadian Airlines livery, and with both the Heavy Division B78XH mod and the Performance Modification Project.
Today’s flight was from Calgary (YYC) to Toronto Pearson (YYZ). Flight time was projected to be just over 3:30hrs, meaning an early evening approach into Toronto. Weather throughout the entire flight was to be very fair.
I started my flight from the domestic swing gate at the new terminal in Calgary. It was very cool to see an FSLTL Air Canada 787 spawn right next to me. That bird was off to Montreal, and we both departed at almost the exact same time!
I took off from RWY 35L and climed out to FL390. From there I cruised over the praries of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Although the scenery isn’t jaw dropping, I couldn’t really complain as conditions throughout the flight were fantastic!
About 2hrs later and I was over Lake Superior. Calling this body of water a lake doesn’t do it justice; this lake is a sea in disguise!
The approach into Toronto was great. I was unable to get the ILS to work on the 787, but fortunately conditions were plenty good for a visual approach into RWY 05 at Pearson.
Welcome to Toronto Pearson! Arrival to the gate was at 6:40pm, and the flight had a total gate-to-gate time of just under 4hrs.
Flew from EGPW to EGPB in the Mooney ![]()
Nice pictures!
I have just completed a 2hr 25min flight from KORD-KDFW. Southwest Boeing 737-800 MAX.
Just after takeoff at KORD
The sunset over Illinois
Cruising over Arkansas at 38,000
Descending over Dallas
On final for 36R
Parked at the Gate
Had a minor crisis while cruising as my left engine went out but I got it back running before descent.
Flew a medium haul flight from Paris Charles De Gaulle LFPG to Douala International Airport FKKD Cameroon in the salty 747 in Air France livery. I had a song stuck in my head that had Cameroon mentioned. Though taking the 747 was a big mistake, landing wasn’t that bad as FKKD has a 9,448 foot runway, the only problem was getting off the runway, its a very narrow turn around you have at both ends, so the A320/B737 are probably more suited to it. I did learn though if I’m flying to new places make sure I check the airport out to make sure it can take the big jetliners like the 747/787.
This and then msnet.net started blowing chunks with a 50% packetloss. Getting real old fast!!
If you look off and to the right you can see where the himicane devestated FLA I guess.

Flew the Cessna 182 from EGPB to EGEF on my Scottish Islands tour
Uninstalled Simple Traffic.
Installed FSLTL.
Wow, what an amazing addon - and that too, free! Installation was a breeze.
So what did I do today (actually yesterday)? I loaded up my 414 cessna at Tokyo Narita Intl airport (I have the addon), landed the 414 quickly in a ditch (it dead), and then switched to drone mode and kept flying around watching all those planes pushback, taxi, line up, take off from the various runways, planes landing, planes going around. Time flew by, night fell and planes kept coming with their twinkling lights, the sounds (oh! the sounds!) of the planes whirring by. OH MY.
So much fun without even flying a plane, ha. This sim is just mind blowing to me on a daily basis. I cannot even fathom where we will be in a year!
Today’s flight was really fun. 1:57hrs flight time from KALB to KPIT in the FedEx Kodiak 100. After departing out of Albany, I was dodging showers and storms from what was formerly Hurricane Ian during climb out.
Was still climbing to my cruising altitude of 11,000 ft. The view was beautiful with showers scattered over upstate New York.
And I was not alone in the sky of today’s flight as I spotted a couple of contrails from other flights, thanks to FSLTL, over the busy skies of Boston and New York Center!
Last screenshot of more storms somewhere over northern Pennsylvania before finally descending into Pittsburgh.
