Early evening flight from Palma de Mallorca(LEPA) to IBIZA(LEIB), Iris PC-21, real weather, FSLTL ai aircraft.

KSTL to KDFW in a DAL A320 (Fenix). I’ve decided my machine can’t take much weather rendering otherwise the FR really suffers and thereby, the experience suffers. Bummer, But if the weather isn’t too bad I can still crush high wind landings. ATC changed my arrival RWY to ILS18L so that left me with not enough time to take more fun screenshots. Not too bad when all, almost, goes to plan.
I wonder if they have good barbeque here?
Some construction apparently
I go away for a few weeks, and you guys add hundreds of posts to this thread. I love it, although I’m going to be reading for quite some time! ![]()
After being smitten with JustFlights’s outstanding Fokker 28, I purchased the Avro Vulcan, and I’m not even slightly disappointed! With her huge delta wing, her raked tail, and her 1950s British charm, engineering sensibilities, and sci-fi looks, what’s not to love? And, oh, that blessed sound! I spent a few minutes simply standing in front of those four Olympus 201s while running the throttles from idle to takeoff thrust and back just to hear that howl!
Having watched many episodes of BBC’s Escape to the Country, I’m impressed by the number of rural UK homes that have a model or painting of a Spitfire, a Lancaster, or a Vulcan somewhere inside! Having witnessed Vulcan XH558 flying once, I understand the tears and raw emotion I saw on the faces of the Englishmen around me! ![]()
Having learned the Vulcan’s basic operating procedures over the last week, I spent this weekend watching videos, running calculations, and reading in an effort to better recreate XH558’s 2015 airshow routine. JF includes some basic information, but it’s merely the skeleton. The meat–those important details like pitch attitudes, bank angles, and pitch and roll rates that I need to make the Vulcan really sing–is missing. Any acrobatic routine is merely an exercise in precision and airmanship, much like the Pattern A and B routines that U.S. pilots must master during their instrument training, and perfection brings great satisfaction!
Here’s some of my first attempts at the maximum performance takeoff to start the routine. I calculated the initial pitch attitude of 20 degrees using YouTube screenshots, the difference in height above the runway of the nose and landing gear, and some trigonometry. It’s a good thing the Vulcan pilot’s visibility outside the cockpit is heavily restricted: in my real-world flying, being 100 feet off the ground at 160 knots indicated and in a 55-degree bank while reducing power would be terrifying! ![]()
Maneuver #3: the “bomb bay” pass. I really wish someone would make scenery for RAF Fairford on par with ChicoMick’s Duxford. The default is very…default! (Note: while writing this I discovered Havoc11’s Fairford scenery update and easynotsoeasy48’s RIAT add-on at flightsim.to. The combination doesn’t exactly gob my smack, but they’re a vast improvement over the default.)
Over the top of a wingover at 150 knots indicated and approximately 100 degrees of bank. The wingover requires finesse in pitch to prevent stalling or overstressing the airplane, but also requires a boot-full of rudder to keep the nose coming down. I calculated the 60-degree maximum pitch angle using more screenshots and trigonometry.
Back on the ground smoothly, safely, and on speed. My runs still have plenty of room for improvement, but when I first attempted this routine, my flying was sloppy, and I overstressed the airframe during almost every run. Heaps of planning and research have allowed me to rapidly improve in both execution and realism. Who knew that preflight planning was a good thing? ![]()
I can’t say enough positive things about JF’s Vulcan. She definitely fills a niche, but successfully wringing her out above a simulated airshow crowd brings me immense satisfaction. When I have the whole routine figured out, I’ll post details on a separate thread. Anyway, it’s back to work, so good night, all! ![]()
Flying the Black Square Cessna Caravan around Nova Scotia today. Deicing systems were on the entire time!
The windshield iced up almost immediately after I shut everything down.

Before you know it, she’ll have this view!

I was getting used to my new PMDG 738 - not quite the same fly as in P3D. Still, was glad to see it and all the scenery were working. Lihue to Seattle.

Today, I flew leg 8 of my FBW A32NX worldtour from New Delhi (VAAH) to Kathmandu (VECC). I did have to do it in two tries, as my gear refused to go up after take-off. Turns out I fudged it up myself by forgetting to raise the gears after take-off and then not realising I flew too fast for the gears to retract. If I had slowed down a bit, I could have retracted the gears… Lesson learnt, I guess? ![]()
The landing at VECC was a bit tricky as it was incredibly foggy (or smoggy?). But I managed to land pretty much on the mark and touched down softly.
Another happy landing!
Next flight will be to Bangkok!
Sorry for not having hidden the UI in this one. It was a spur of the moment screenshot
edit: fixed typo
Last night I flew Denpasar, Bali to Singapore Changi in the FBW A23NX as Air Asia QZ506. The Inter Tropic Convergence Zone (ICTZ) is particularly active over Indonesia at this time of the year, and I deliberately stayed up late in my time zone so that I could use real world weather late afternoon local time to in the hope of encountering some large thunderstoms, opting to fly the slightly longer overland route in where the cells typically develop.

Despite Navigraph’s radar returning plenty of colour, it appeared the biggest build ups were not on my track, but I still got to enjoy the sight of plenty of volcanos (including world famous Krakatoa) passing by and was surprised overhead Sumatra as a TCAS TA turned into a TCAS RA, and with autopilot engaged the entire time, the aircraft descended until clear of conflict, then reclimbed back to cruise altitude of FL380!
I recently acquired the Changi scenery from Cloudsurf Asia/Orbx after redeeming a Steam gift card from Xmas, and enjoyed seeing the Jewel and taxing over the road bridge to Terminal 4 upon landing. Looking forward to doing some more A32NX flights in the region! Special shout out to ‘arielhendra’ for the amazing PK-AXV livery from flightsim.to ![]()

Hello @ZKd0s
Out of respect for forum users on mobile devices, we request that folks attach a maximum of ten pics per post.
If you have more than ten you wish to share, it is acceptable to create two posts!

hi long time I havn’t shared my flights here
hope everyone is fine, best wishes and hopes for 2024 !!!
I will try to stay focus on my day flights
started on a C208 in brazil flying along araguari river from araguari (SNAG) till rio Paranaìba then landed at SBIT.
then took the Bonanza A36 turbo charger in united stats doing KNKX - KAVQ following a vor to vor path
last fly of the day was in comache, I was waiting for sunrise in the Aleutian Islands from PADK to PAAK it was bit rainy at start, very foggy at the end I had to turn off real time weather to see the runway
