I enjoyed retracing locations of my honeymoon, flying vfr around points of interest and also using the main airplanes & liveries used in real life at the main airports. Hoping the A350 comes out finally. Cool to relive some of the experiences virtually. Get to see the Acropolis, Paris, Istanbul and Venice all in nice detail.

A week ago, I mentioned being grounded because of my TV dying on me late that evening…
During that time I didn’t think I would be flying again anytime soon and that’s when I learned how brainwashed I was. Brainwashed into thinking that gaming on a console means that I need a big 44 inch (or bigger) TV. Yesterday I did some research and found that the majority of gamers prefer 27-32 inch screens so that they don’t have to dart their eyes back and forth in order to see everything on screen. To me that made sense, it made more sense as I sat around and thought about it, so I downgraded myself to a 32-inch TV and while keeping a lot of money in my pocket.
I’m back on the console and did my first flight: From Frankfurt to Berlin
While it maybe backtracking, Berlin has a lot of cool things to look at and with my last TV near the end of its life, it took forever to load all the POI’s in the game. Most of which I had to keep zooming out and zooming in.

And this is Edinburgh EGPH to Salzburg LOWS, using the RNAV Visual V 33 approach which was new to me but quickly becomes one of my favourite challenging approaches.

The worst part of that Iceland airport is that there’s this one parking area near the gates that’s just a photo and not textured plus you can literally see a photo of a plane parked in there

First flight this year. Yikes! It was rough. King Air AP a struggle. Could not find approach and just started circling and with black clouds. Probably me. The sim got real glitchy approaching CYVR and made landing a struggle. Never used to do that. I’m one of the simmers that hasn’t had much trouble at all. Oh well.
