What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 2)

Continuing my exploration of the DACH countries in the NXCub. Today, a flight from Tutow (EDUW) to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (EDDB) with stops at Pasewalk (EDCV) & Finow (EDAV). A very easy VFR flight, as one just has to flollow the A20 south, then exit onto the A11 south until you reach the junction of the A10 at NeuSchwanebeck. From there one can head to Berlin’s city center for some sightseeing, then pass the closed Tempelhof (EDDI) airport before landing at Berlin Brandenburg Airport.

Today I continued on my Around the World tour by finally coming to the edge of the Amazon, going from Manaus to Boa Vista. I was anxious to get off the ground, so we left early morning and experienced a beautiful sunrise over Amazonia. As we got closer to edge of the rainforest, the human impact became much more noticeable. We had clear skies all the way through, although a strong crosswind most of the flight. Now for a full day in Boa Vista as we prepare to leave Brazil tomorrow.

What’s an American Eagle flight doing all the way down here?

Took the Beechcraft Bonanza from Berlin to Amsterdam, made it a scenic trip, so I could take a few photos, such fascinating architecture.

Anyone else fly low to the water just because they find the evolution of water in games so fascinating?

Came up a little short on the runway, but I was still at the airport.

Today I came into Venezuela as I continued my world tour, visiting Angel Falls and landing in Canaima. I spent quite a bit of time exploring the valley and other sights near the falls and the TBM took it like a champ, even though I had some very unconventional maneuvers. I also navigated via VOR and VFR today, which was a lot of fun. We had some broken clouds and a bit of rain, but nothing that couldn’t be routed around.

There’s not much here at the airport, so I’ll find a place to sleep and then tomorrow continue the route north into the Caribbean.

So I had a plan to slooowly work up to airliners, but I decided to just try to get the FBW A320 started up. Well, start up turned into a full flight from KSMF to KSAN. What a ride - I’m hooked! Still lots of kinks to work out and my landing was…less than stellar…because I couldn’t figure out how to activate the RNAV approach. All in all, however, a terrific flight!

There’s a whole lot of people down at LAX!

I made it, although i have a feeling I’m going to get quite a few lawsuits from that landing, and probably fired.

Doesn’t get much more iconic than that. Nice flying! I love that we can recreate historic moments in this sim.

Over shot the runway, decided to go fishing instead

Tried a new route to Courchevel in my HYPE H160 today. Live weather and traffic worked as expected, but the Hover function at landing was a bit twitchy :face_with_monocle:

Continuing my exploration of the DACH countries in the NXCub. Today’s flight was from Schwechat (LOWW) to Scharding-Suben (LOLS) with a pit-stop at Linz (LOWL). The first part of the trip follows the Danube:
Leaving Vienna:

There are many picturesque towns along the banks of the Danube:

As well as castles:

and abbeys:

Our mid-point pit-stop: Linz, looking south to the Austrian Alps:

From Linz, we leave the Danube and follow the B129, past Eferding and over rolling farmland to Peuerbach:

Then onto our destination - the small airport at Scharding-Suben (LOLS).
