Great photos! What were your departure and arrival airports? Any 3rd party mods?
Trying out some radio navigation in the TBM 850, so I stayed local and flew from Hayfork (F62) to Happy Camp (36S) in Northern California. Beautiful afternoon for a flight, although the approach into Happy Camp caught me off guard with the mountains surrounding it. I almost had to do a go-around…
Program my stream deck+ to work with the TFDI MD-11. Somewhat boring, tedious stuff. But I’ve found a few shortcuts to make it go by faster.
Latin a321 Neo from Charlotte to Little Rock
Continued my Around the World Trip, from Aberdeen to the Isle of Man with the TBM 850. Did some more practice navigating only by VORs and I made it to the island in one piece!
I will have to check the log: Homeyo, Bugalaga, and surrounding airstrips in that area.
Yes, some of these are add-on airstrips.

Short Flight today… Atlanta to Myrtle Beach South Carolina
I’m starting to see that I need plenty of landing practice or a slower plane
Boeing 707 from Little Rock to Charlotte NC
Continued the World Tour from Isle of Man to Southampton. This time I removed GPS completely so there wouldn’t even be a temptation to look at a map. After exploring the island a bit, I headed to my destination via radio navigation only. I wasn’t a perfect navigator as you can see from Little Navmap, which I kept running in the background, but it was a fun flight nonetheless!
I suspect I will continue using radio navigation, although I may need to switch back to GPS in some parts of the world; looking at the route ahead, there are some areas with VORs that are few and far between…
I installed new mahogany paneling in the cockpit. Adds a bit more character to the ol’ girl I think.
Flying low of the Isle of Man provided for some breathtaking views of this small island with a long and varied history.
Time to get back on track before it gets any later. Coming out of the Isle.
Liverpool: a town of culture that spans back more than 800 years.
I was grateful for the radio navigation especially during this portion of the flight when a decent layer of fog settled in. Thankfully, it did not last long.
Descending down in preparation for the approach afforded some great views of the pastoral English countryside.
Made it to my destination without a hint of GPS!
I few hiccoughs here and there, mostly when I forgot to turn NAV back on after making some adjustments to the radios.
Trouble sleeping so decided to do a long flight with a slow plane
Myrtle Beach South Carolina to Bermuda
Flew through the famous triangle, I guess it was switched to the off position, didn’t notice anything weird.
Although got a few nice photos while landing since the sun was setting
Spent most of my sim time today troubleshooting the post AAU3 A320 V2 with Inibuilds (really helpful) and getting info and evidence to submit bug reports. Managed one flight after a number of false starts where the MCDU froze then one short hop to London after which the Xbox froze and needed a power cycle to get back into FS.
Not the best day but if the bugs get sorted it makes better for us all and it’s nice to help out.
