I typically hand fly an aircraft when taking off, landing, and performing other significant maneuvers. But once I reach my cruise altitude, I turn on the autopilot and switch to external view to enjoy my aircraft’s external model set against the beautiful cinematic scenery in MSFS 2020. If the aircraft has no autopilot, I then turn on the AI co-pilot to do the same thing. You can simply see more scenery from the external view of an aircraft.
