What happened to Sim Update 8?

Unless I had it wrong or something changed, but wasn’t SU8 supposed to come out in January?

What happened?

Please don’t tell me what they meant was today’s patch.

I just finished a short flight. When I started the sim, it asked me install a mandatory update of approx 800MB from the Windows store. Not sure what that was but had not had one like this since update 7 (was 1.21.13 and now 1.21.18)

Sim Update 8, late February.

this is the version the betatesters have had. I call it sim update 7.5 .
