What happened to the training?

What happened to the flight training? I had fs2000 and the training in that was great everything was covered.

Been out of the loop and was hoping to go through all the training again

Also what’s up with the rudder control it’s mad. I don’t have a axis available on my joystick just 2 buttons and it just pins the rudder hard left or right throwing the plain around. Dose the same using the keyboard keys.

If you don’t have an axis, how do you expect it to know if you want third, half, or full rudder? Try turning on assists so you don’t need rudder.

It used to come on gradually using the keyboard or key on joystick in fs2000 or the effect was far less. You could use it to turn and raise the nose fine in banked turns.

i used Xbox controller, for engine power, breaks, rudder , yoke , flaps, camara, works fine.
in the combination of keyboard and mouse

Yes, training lessons are disappointing. I’ve played Dovetail Flight School/Flight Sim World before and it had much better trainings, more detailed and sometimes more challenging. I learned a lot there.

I have a soft spot for FSW too! For all its faults and abandonware reputation it was very serviceable, no tweaks required, out of the box for GA, and of course the licensing missions tested your actual skills and were very exacting and challenging to pass.

The career mode they beta-ed was pretty interesting too, kind of like a FSEconomy lite.
