This happens usually when one hand doesn’t know what the other hand does. Just like it caught everyone in the US by surprise that August is holiday month in Europe there was probably someone choosing 25th of Nov as a good date for a dev update.
I have recently been asked to work at another work place until the end of the year while my only direct coworker was given holiday all December. I‘m already curious how this is going to work out
