What is a DR Update coming April 29? Just wondering.

I think DR stands for Development Roadmap, meaning they will show us what they have planned in terms of updates for may/june.
Don’t quote me on it, but I think that’s what it means.
Maybe someone who knows can confirm?

That sounds very logical, coming the current roadmap ended with WU4

Yes, their posts are getting very confusing now as they call both updates of information about what they’re doing and software updates both just updates. So it’s not easy to recognize which updates are for the software, and which updates are from the development team to us telling us what they are doing.
I wonder if it’s a language translation issue, like they say Eskimos have 137 names for snow, but English only has one word for “Update”. 
Technically, when I read it, I have to tell myself there are only three software updates, Sim Updates and World Updates, and hotfixes. The rest are just the different development updates being given to us

I know. They said quite some time ago they’d be getting away from that confusing terminology, but instead seemed to have doubled down on it. Those of us who are forum regulars and know what’s what and what days to expect it know, but the more casual forum visitors are just left confused. And rightfully so too.
Right now, update = patch = devblog = sim update = world update. They’re all used pretty interchangeably in official communication. There needs to be a clear delineation between these things:
- Sim Update
- World Update
- Hotfix / Patch
- Devblog
- Road Map
Done. And they need to stick to the nomenclature.

haha, if French had 137 words for “update” this would explain a LOT.
