I’d never use a plane without an interior and flightdeck. 99% of my pretend pilot time is from the flightdeck or a cabin seat wingview. For those of us locked to desk anything to help with the wannabe airline pilot feel is very welcome 
Flying in 3rd person in this game would just feel like flying a drone. It would be a boring droner game for me.
