What is causing the image in VR to “vibrate”?

Hi guys I am using a Pimax Crystal and I am experiencing an awkward behavior, the image “vibrates” or “jumps” once I enter VR (independently of I am in the cockpit or in the external view). It becomes very annoying specially when reading small displays.

I haven’t figured out what is causing this, if it’s a setting in the pimax or a defect in the hardware.

I appreciate any feedback I’m case someone is experiencing something similar, thanks!

Is this happening in MSFS only or before enabling the VR in MSFS (when you see the Pimax “space landscape”)?
Make sure you don’t have Smart Smoothing enabled in Pimax software (check the lower left corner of the Pimax interface).
Some people reported issues with Crystal with HAGS on, try to disable if you have it on.

Is your room well lit?
I’m not experiencing this.
You can try Shaking Reduction in OpenXR Toolkit.
You can also temporarily empty your Community folder in MSFS.
Aren’t you experiencing severe turbulence?

Hi, is only happening when entering VR. Smart Smoothing is off. HAGS is on. I can try disabling Hags and emptying the community folder to find if it gets better!

Light shouldn’t be an issue as it was working well some days ago.

I didn’t know about the shaking reduction is open xr, I think it worth a try!

Turbulence is not really an issue, this I think is behaving ok…

Hi Stekusteku, i am not finding this option? how can i activate this? Thank you!

Search for “Shaking reduction” on the Inputs tab.

When all else fails, read the manual
