What is the plan to patch and update MSFS 2024

Considering all the bugs and issues with MSFS2024 mentioned here in the last 24 hours, I think Asobo/MS could use the next communication opportunity to talk abou the patch schedule for this sim.

With 2020, they were very much avoiding small, quick patches to adress specific issues or hotfixes. They favored bimonthly sim updates instead. This was great when bringing new features, but not sure if it will be enough to solve the bugs and issues reported by the users. Some of the bugs in 2020 took years to get solved.

Of course, this is besides the server issues which will be tackled on server side, I assume.

As an idea (apart from making walkaround mode optional). Why not rethink the everything online policy and bring back some heavier assets to the local install? It is a nice idea but it seems to kill the servers.

No battle plan survives the Battle as Sun Tzu wrote. Maybe this is the case?

I think the bugs not getting worked on for years is due to the widely spread developers all over the world. For this type of structure, you need a single top management overlooking the whole product which is lacking and difficult to achieve, I think.
