What about users that were messing around with custom weather and failed to reselect the live button in the options? Your work around, works 100%, for you. To assume a user cannot learn from the information presented, good info or bad, is shortsighted. Much better to have an understanding AND a solution. Not just a step by step to make it work.
This is not just a weather fix conversation. MY point is, SEARCH FIRST. Read and learn what you can. Develop an understanding. Not only is it possible you may find the solution yourself, but MAYBE you may figure out something no-one else has. MAYBE it is user error. Maybe the user that reads and understands ALL the information will figure it out. At the very least, it is a great way to become more educated about the sim you are trying to learn.
