In case anyone was wondering, I did find out why my co-pliot (I use ATC assistance) was continually asking for vectors and higher altitudes. Seems it was me actually asking. I had mapped my instrument views to the 1 through 9 keys to make it easier to get around the cockpit as I hate using a 2 key combination. I didn’t think it would do that if the ATC menu wasn’t open but it does. So I cleared those all out and now all is fine. See…user error!
