What Results Can I Expect From My Hardware Config?

I hope everyone here is doing well and this is my first comment on the boards.

I recently purchased an Aurora R11 with an i9-10900KF, RTX 3080, 32GB 3200mhz DDR4, 512 NVMe SSD. I have a 27" 4K PC monitor. What kind of FPS should I expect from HIGH and ULTRA settings?

Btw, i’ve been an MS Flight Simmer since Flight Sim 4.0 back in 1992. It’s amazing how MS 2020 looks today. It almost looks too real. I remember back when MSFS 5.0 was released, thinking it can’t get better than this as it looked photo realistic and today we have can literally see the world in flight thanks to Bing maps.

Who cares? Install MSFS, set the settings selector to Ultra, and enjoy.

I have no idea how many fps your machine will achieve…I run it on a homemade average for 2012 and it does 25fps on HIGH settings and looks super doing it and is quite smooth. The machine is AMD 8 Core 8320 at 3.5GHz, 24GB Ram, MSI RX 580 4GB GPU, Windows 10 64 RE Release. 2 each Samsung 1 TB SDDm 1 Hitachi 1TB HDD, 28" 1920 X 1024 AOC Monitor. I’m satisfied, you should be too! HNLute

between 30 and 50 FPS, depending on where you fly.

That’s a very Beefy System and although I can’t tell you exactly what your FPS will be, I can say you will have no problem with all settings at Ultra with likely 25+FPS. I get pretty good results with almost all settings on Ultra and my system is nowhere near yours. I do get FPS drops in dense Metro areas eg. NYC, or at some Custom Airports. This happens to pretty much everybody though.

My setup:
I5 8400 6 Core CPU
16 GB RAM@ 1333Mhz
MSI TRI-FROZER RTX 2070 GPU
256 GB SSD + 1 TB HDD
600W PSU
Windows 10 Home
