Planning to dip my toes into VR again and get a used G2 on ebay, which I’ll just sell again if I decide it’s still not for me. They seem to sell for around £250 on ebay, but not sure if there’s anything specific that I should check is included. I assume the headset and cable are the only essentials for MSFS, so not worth going for one with controllers.
See if you can determine what revision the cable is. The cable has had a history of connectivity problems, and HP tried to resolve some of them with a second revision cable design. I know people were dumping their G2s onto Ebay specifically because of cable issues.

If this is going to be your first VR headset go for the one with controllers, you must play Half Life Alyx. It’s a masterpiece. You will understand what I mean when you will be confronting Jeff.
