What's a good size drive would be good for the sim?

Hi there,
I at the moment have a 512gb SSD .What Would be a good size to add extras livery , planes and scenery etc…Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would say 1TB is the sweet spot (I run this), but it will all depend on what you’re planning to purchase / download.
You could go completely bonkers and download terabytes upon terabytes of googlemaps ripped off content from the web. It all depends on your use-case.

If the sim is all you are running, I would say you’re good, but a Terabyte would be better if you want to run more.

For perspective, when I bought my first PC back in 1987, the clerk told me a 40 Megabyte hard drive was all I would ever need. The real answer to your question is, buy the most you can afford.

Absolutely this. I find I always fill up drives quicker that I thought I would, and end up regretting not getting a bigger one.

I bit the bullet and bought a 2TB Samsung 970 evo+. Probably overkill but it’s nice knowing I don’t have to worry about space again.

Hi guys, thanks for the help and information…I was thinking about getting an 1TB m.2 drive from Samsung…Maybe get myself one for Christmas…
