In some places they are OK (a bit high) and in some they are in the air about 500ft above ground level.

Another bug which has gotten far too little attention.

My bet is tower lights without the towers under them. Default approach lights are the same. Come in low and slow into a larger default airport and you’ll see that the approach strobes that are supposed to be on a string of small poles are just floating in the air. And I have yet to see one radio/TV broadcast antenna.
It’s not just lights, I’ve seen airport staff floating high in the air as well
