Whats the significance of PosX and PosY in CFG file?

Hi all.
How do the PosX and PosY values in the cfg file affect the sim.
I never change them myself but the values change?
Mostly I see 0, 0 and sometimes 1 after PosX but recently I had PosX 2, PosY 1 and now for some reason they have gone back to 0, 0?

Never seen them mentioned in any posts.

Also…does the Raytracing value in the cfg file do anything?

Cheers

There are probably 40 or 50 or more .cfg files in the sim.
Which one are you referring to?

I dont know what it does but it changes randomly here. Ive seen it a 0 0 , 723 800 and strange values at different times.

Raytracing? - Well Ive seen people say that raytracing isnt working in the sim. I remember back to su5 I think it was that the release notes said they broke raytracing and then they put out a patch that fixed it supposedly.

On my system i7-6 1080 ti I have it on, since when its off, it seems to slow the system FPS down. So I would guess that indeed it is doing something. All you can really do is switch it on, start the sim and see how it runs. Quit the sim change it to off, rinse and repeat.

Alot of people are saying that HD is broken, but after replacing cables my HD seems to be working just fine…go figure

Sorry…The main Usercfg file in the Local Cache folder.

It is the x and y positions of something - a window, element or something.

Sure its not a remembered seat / pilot position? that would explain the wide diff. in the numbers.
