When you activate the drone mode, it goes crazy

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Everytime I press V key to toogle drone camera, planes crashes. Then I restart flight, airplane is in the air, and drops to the floor. Trying to get back to cabin camera, the sim crashes to desktop (CTD). I was using inibuilds a350 with cabin 1.0.12

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta? No

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Havent tried.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Everytime.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. I place inibuilds a350 on LTVR LEBL gate heavy.
  2. Enter cockpit
  3. Press V Key

To go to Drone mode, you need to use the control = Toggle Drone.

(Keyboard 2024 Transversal)

My v key is mapped to Attach Drone To Previous Target.
My Shift v is mapped to Photo Mode Toggle.

What is your V key mapped to?

For me and the fenix- if I use the bar once to enter drone mode, I can then use the shortucut to enter and exit without being catapulted into the air haha!

Hi, I had both! Disabled V for attach drone to previous target and problem solved! Thanks! This mapping control thing in MSFS 2024 it has been a pain in the … Hope they improved it.

The bug is still occurring, MS Store, SU3 Beta, spawns me into middle of no where in the ocean then crashes my aircraft when I toggle out of drone mode

I retested this a few days ago. I chose a plane, configured it to change its variant, then came out. The bug is now primed. I spawned in, but went to the camera menu, and clicked the camera mode with the mouse. The bug did not manifest, but if I had pressed my key on my keyboard it would have. I was then able to press the key without issue.

Visiting the menu first or not configuring your plane before flight are the only two workarounds I know of.
