Maybe you know these, since you recieved passive income previously, but maybe it helps to figure out why.

  • You said employee and freelance, but for passive income only freelance is counting. Employee missions will not count to your passive income flight hours.
  • If you fly during UTC midnight, your passive income will not generate (it rolls over to the next day, however if you fly during UTC midnight again, only one day is rolling over, basically if you fly always UTC midnight you will not get passive income at all). Closing the game 10 min before UTC midnight and reopening it 15 min after UTC midnight can ensure that this is not a problem.
  • The crewed aircraft need maintenance. If a vital component reaches a certain low percentage, the aircraft will not generate any more passive income till it is not maintained. Some parts can take a long time till they wear out, for example reservoirs, but others wear out much faster, for example alternators, landing gears, hydraulic components.
If none of the above is an issue, than maybe its something else.

Hi,
I know that tips.

1- I have checked and the exact day since I have not received passive income is since the 15th. At this moment it is January 18th.

2- I said “employee and freelance”, because I have flown both types of missions
Employee mode has been to unlock specializations.

3- In only one occasion I have flown in UTC Midnight, I didn’t have time to finish the flight before that time.
(with the following error in the flight, have to fix that Asobo :face_with_diagonal_mouth:).
But on other occasions I have done the correct procedure.

4- Crew aircraft are maintained. Everything at an acceptable level.

5- Yesterday (not midnight) I sold my 6 cessna 172, and now i have 2 visions jet G2 and an 172 (all new, maintenance at 100%) and fly one of them in 2 freelance charter missions.
Today I have no passive income either.

6- there were any server update since 13-14th?
Because, I have seen another time ridiculous wind at career mode these days.
Knocking down a 172 entering at runway for takeoff and being stopped at it, ridiculous.

Well it could be then something new, I am unsure if they did any change, but could be.
I had ridiculous winds time to time in career, so I don’t know.

First question. When we’re talking about UTC, is it the time in the game, or the time on my computer? Do i need to plan my play time around 00:00 UTC? I would really love to not have that constraint.

Either way, I noticed that “Aircraft in Use” shows 0% (screenshot). All but the 208 which I fly have crew on. Can someone help me make sense out of that?

Also, after 3 days of flying and not seeing a dime of passive income (screenshot), all of a sudden on day 5 I get a big chunk of PI (after not flying for 2 days) and then nothing again…

PI is not such a difficult concept. This needs to be made a lot more straight forward. This UTC threshold is an absolute nonsense, unless I’m missing something. I find myself spending more money on maintenance and washing planes, than they actually make me.

Right, so I finally confirmed for myself that the game is on the actual real world time. So the hack (which I’m sure many have already discovered) is to close the game right before midnight GMT and then open it after Big Ben strikes midnight.

In my case (PST) that’s 16:00 so it’s not too difficult to plan around. But I won’t take a medium cargo mission at 15:00, so there’s that…

If you don’t jump through this hoop, you will see incomes missing for each day you didn’t, hence my previous screenshot, I suppose.

Either way, I would like to see it work differently, especially if wear and tear accumulates every day, even if you miss the passive income.

If you miss income on a particular day because you are flying at 00:00 UTC you will still receive it the following day after 00:00 UTC as long as you are not online flying the following day at 00:00 UTC.

Wear and tear does not accumulate each day. Your fleet ONLY accumulates wear and tear while your are actively flying as freelancer in career mode and you only accumulate wear on aircraft that are marked crew on.

The only plane you need to worry about washing is the one you are flying. If you want a good view, you will need to ensure it is washed prior to each flight.

• Yes, but I realize this is because I was flying at midnight UTC for a couple of days, which means I missed out on a sizeable chunk of Passive Income (~9 hours of freelance flight time)

• Would love to see a way to resolve the midnight UTC issue, as it’s quite limiting for those of us in different time zones where midnight UTC falls right in the sweet spot for some flying

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Are you guys still experiencing this issue, because I am, and I’m not flying beyond midnight. I have 0% Aircraft in use.
