When are seasons coming? It’s a major immersion killer seeing summer when it’s almost winter here in the US. Trees should be fall colors or bare at this point. Not fully leaved and green. I’ve been flying more on P3D than MSFS because of this.
Great question. When it came out in August, the scenery (season wise, notably) was spot on in the northern hemisphere. But agreed, landing in Duluth yesterday and seeing a sea of dark green is a buzz kill. I don’t need four seasons in FS, but I do want at least two. Looks like more night flights for me (or staying in the tropics!).
It’s planned, but we don’t know when it will be released yet. Asobo want to do seasons right.
Yep, they’re going to be in the sim eventually. There’s a video out there with Asobo folks talking about all the things that have to be done to do seasons right. I suspect this issue is currently fairly low on the list given all the “startup” issues they’re dealing with.
In the mean time, I just run the “snow” preset.
