You will find your first mission in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. After you do this one you can create your VIP company.
Exactly, and the stupid missions in Europe are bloody ridiculous, flying a jet into a stupid glider strip, give me an ■■■■■ break. I actually completed one, the Vision Jet had an awful time landing, but I thought it would finally open up missions in NW US where I actually have home base… NOPE, nada, still only the idiotic missions in Europe. This thing is SO broke. Bout to uninstall this ■■■■!
My whole world map is populated with VIP missions their everywhere.
How nice for you, does me no good unless you can tell me what you did to make that happen?
Oh, and talk about brain dead, when I did that Vision Jet mission, ATC told me in my IFR clearance to “climb and maintain 1000”, this from an airport that is at 1280 elevation, I mean it would be screamingly funny if it wasn’t so hopelesslly broken
I am getting VIP missions (Charter Service - Private) in North America along the East coast apart from the ones in Europe. These are the ones you get with the Vision Jet, TBM, DA62.
Once you get to the PC 12 or CJ4, you will get Charter Service - VIP. Those missions are there almost all over the world.
Yeah, same for me. I’ve been flying Freelance Private charters on the east coast of the US. They go as far west as Chicago but no further. I have some locations opened up on the west coast but absolutely none there. I also find that the private charter missions almost exclusively fly into really small airports and the same few actually so it’s getting a bit frustrating.
This whole thing is so poorly documented, maybe I’m missing something? I have only been passing certifications and unlocking specializations. I haven’t bought a plane or made a company because I saw no point until it was something I cared about. Could that be an issue?
Another thing, I’m using SU2, not Beta, in case any posters were. I did not want to waste time with something that would just be wiped later.
Yes I am in SU2 as well and not beta for the exact reason you mentioned.
I would suggest that you create a VIP Charter company and grind through the Vision Jet to get a PC 12. You will have to buy the Vision Jet first for your company by grinding employee missions till that point. The payout for same mission in freelance mode is much higher.
Then come back to remaining certifications. That way you will earn far more credits than you spend on certification. The grind will be lesser.
With the PC 12 you can quickly create a fleet of lower tier aircraft for passive income. That way you will keep earning while flying even as an employee. Withing 3-4 PC 12 missions you will be able to buy another PC 12, so the grind is much less.
If you never plan to create a company then it is ok to continue with employee missions only to pay for the certifications, but in future if you ever feel like opening a company then you will again have to start grinding - so better is to open the company now and grind only once for creating your fleet and then enjoy the career mode as you wish, not for getting credits but flying the missions you actually like flying. I would call that having virtual financial freedom in MSFS.
visonjet a lack of vip charters. only a few in whole europe. Transfering your AC cost almost more then earnings
Its a shame
