Where are you buying your components?

Hello there, Simmers;

@skypilotYTS ultimately pushed me over the edge and convinced me to build my first SIM setup. My question to all the captains in Alberta, Canada is where in the province do you get your peripheral components? I’m just trying to save on shipping and support local businesses.

Or is everyone buying online? If so, do you have any recommendations for websites?

For me, I try to buy directly from the company if they sell retail. Virpil does, Monster Tech Does, Honeycomb does, don’t know about the new Boeing Yoke device. VKB does, not sure about ThrustMaster. Getting Logitech stuff of amazon is fine provided its amazon selling it direct to you. For PC components, I have no recommendations. Newegg used to be reputable, but lately read a few bad reviews, and they are in CA, and I won’t support any business in that state. Best Buy is good, but they I think have a 30 day return policy. If you have specific items, post back and ask.

Somewhat close to local, Canada Computers has several outlets in BC.
I’m in Atlantic Canada and find them excellent.
