Where can I enable/disable the touchdown effects

Where are located the water spray and touchdown configuration file that apply for the whole FS?

I am having stutters everytime I am landing and I want to disable the touch down effects and water spray effect.

In which .cfg or .opt file are located?

Hi there,

I don’t think that there is a universal setting for this. Unfortunately, it would have to be done on an individual aircraft basis. I’m not sure how much touchdown effects are going to be a factor unless you are landing from outside the aircraft.

Oh no, I shame to admit that I did that change following a video that I can´t find anymore :see_no_evil:

I believe it was a .opt or .cfg file at the main folder (not a any particular plane).

Oh okay, maybe I was wrong then. Hopefully someone else knows!

This might help

wow that´s new!

I will and I will come back with the result. At this time I am using my headphones. Another thing is that it now always happen, its random, they are a lot of airports and landings without stuttering.

My theory is more likely oriented to the system that does not load the effects (no matter if they are showed or not) and when the moment to lands come, the system has to load it at that time, and depending with the memory usage, the stutter comes or not.
