Is the photogrammetry scenery assembled on msfs servers or is the raw data assembled on my computer? Just trying to understand more about this fantastic simulator.
Both Bing Maps and PG are streamed from the Internet and overlaid in your scenery in real-time while flying.
There are base terrain and placeholder/generic items resident on your PC where POIs (like PG cities - NY, Paris etc) would be overlaid - so you would see these bland items while flying if you turned off PG.
