also, a high fidelity B17 or B29, and some more eastern bloc planes too.

Flying Iron Simulations is working on a B-17. Can’t get much more high fidelity than what they can do.

Honestly I just want some new avionics, I care less about the actual airframe at this point. So many developers throw in the WT G1000, the TDS/PMS 750 or the old GNS 430/530. It would be awesome to have some Avidyne or Honeywell avionics. I’m still waiting for the PC-12 NG but my guess is that it’s not coming any time soon.

I’m looking forward to when the PMDG 777 and the FlyByWire A380 gets released.

True… Or a stand alone G1000/3000/5000 for all of those planes that use the Bottle neck of Asobo.

Avionics is some thing 90 percent of devs forgett about. PMS/TDS ok but we see the problems coupled to native navs.

Some interesting ones I would love to experience in the sim no one has done yet

Boeing monomail for mail runs
Boeing model 40 for mail runs
Boeing model 80 to complete the tri motor fleet

I agree with this. Don’t get me wrong, I use and am happy with the Garmin ecosystem in real life, but it would be fun to get some different looks.

I wonder how much of it has to do with Garmin’s relative openness, the trainers that can run in the background, etc. Do they actually partner with Asobo in any way in terms of licensing their name and source code?

Regardless, whatever partnership, official or not, it’s a pretty big windfall for Garmin as it establishes a user preference and brand familiarity to lots of pilots-to-be, not to mention those of us who use the sim to brush up on flows and procedures.

Adding another to the list.

Super Baby Great Lakes Biplane. This little thing looks amazing.

Decent level a220 and a340. Maybe a 767 and some business jets, we definitely need more business jets

maybe - but an actual Great Lakes 2T-1A would be welcome, radial or inline, antique or modern. The type has so many variants and engine options it’s like a trove of biplanes in one
