Which Aircraft are at the top of your wishlist for third-party devs to make?

I hope PMDG will also work on a 737 MAX, although I’m very much looking forward to the NG I think PMDG is the best choice to make the MAX version.

I’d like more modern business jets and some classic airliners, say Boeing 727 and 732. Thinking about it… a 747-200 mod with an all analog cockpit + INS would already be lovely.

I’m a huge fan of flying as realistically as possible (online ATC and such), so a 732 (Nolinor) or a 712 (Delta, Hawaiian) would be awesome to have as ‘classics’. I have never had the pleasure of flying a 717 so that’t would be amazing. I don’t even know exactly what the main differences are between the Mad Dog and the 717

Word around that PMDG’s MAX was practically ready for release, but then the issues happened with grounding and it was delayed indefinitely. They are an official Boeing licensed product and it’s a touchy situation right now for Boeing, so in the meantime, PMDG doesn’t want to do anything to complicate that delicate ordeal. So, it’s… on hold. Until the time is right.

Which is also the reason why you will never, ever see damage modelling on a PMDG Boeing.

That’s OK with me. I fully understand why. It’s kind of not really important to me at all. Failures? Yeah, that’ great. Damage modeling isn’t really a priority.

Where’s the T-38A Talon?

In 1961 my Brother my Mum and me flew to Africa in a BEA Viscount. When we returned to the UK 2 years later we flew back on the same Aircraft. Mum was carrying Hamed her Pet Tortoise in her Hand Bag. We were given Processed Peas as part of the In Flight meal which made my Brother sick.
Hamed was Hand fed Corn Flakes by a lovely BEA Stewardess so he went First Class.

That one is on the list too…

Really? BEA = British European Airways and they didn’t service Africa. The clue is in the name  I suggest that you probably flew BOAC and probably in the Bristol Britannia (AKA The Whispering Giant) if it was a turbo prop. The Brit is what I picture in the post which you kindly responded to . My first trip to Africa was to Nairobi in a BOAC VC10 in 1968.

Great news :+1:

The RAF used BEA to transport Family Members to the Middle East. Our flight touched down in Valletta before flying on to El Adem. Coming back we Flew from Benina to London Gatwick.

We envy your VC 10 experience.
What a wonderful Aircraft and the Fastest across the Atlantic after Concorde.

El Adem - what joy. I sort of hadn’t included the Middle East in Africa; geography never was my strong point . I jetted off to Nairobi for a period of loan service with the KAF. Escaped the V Force. Young, free, single and two years in Nairobi. Now that was joyous.

Extoling the virtues of the VC 10; I had a friend later on who flew the VC10 tanker and went on to a short exchange with the USAF on the KC135. He reckoned that it was like swapping a Rolls Royce for a Ford Model T.

My very good friends Daughter was based at Brize and we enjoyed some excellent Officers Mess nights. Open Days were also interesting with Tours of VC 10’s and Tri Stars.
We’re so looking forward to a David Maltby standard VC 10 for our beloved Sim.

ps That is,… David Maltby’s Quality Rendition of a Standard VC 10.

RAF El Adem. El Adem, meaning The End (for the wonderful VC 10 also).

We just read an account of Life on the Base in the 60’s. This Airman was lamenting the lack of WAAF’s at El Adem and wrote that his Mate fell in love with one of the Teachers at the School in Tobruk.
I wonder if it was Miss Mason, who praised my drawing of a Spitfire when i was 7 yrs. She was my First Love after my Mum. Years later i met my friend Stewart who went to the same school one year after me. Stewart had a Photo Album which included a photo of his Class and Teacher Miss Mason.
I just managed to resist the Temptation to look at the Pic and she will always be remembered as a Fragrant Goddess in my memory.
