Which airliner to get?

Of course it is. But he or she said “to me” and that’s the point. Airbus or Boeing are a question of taste, preference and dedication. I also only fly Boeing with my yoke and if I want to fly an aircraft with a stick I reconfigure my desk. If it’s an A320 the stick has to be to the left of me, if I fly a Spitfire or a fighter in DCS it’s between my legs, and so on. It’s certainly a bit nerdy but I want it that way. I could never fly a 320 with a yoke or a 737 with a joystick.

Regarding this particular question the A320 is probably the more interactive aircraft with its extensive tablet, the automated crossover calculations etc. It also looks a bit better in the cockpit I think, has more features to play around with, be it the open window or the partial ATSU.

The 737 is probably the more detailed system simulator with better usability with external hardware but it has still some quirks that need to be ruled out regarding route tracking and generally its navdata. Its code is decades old at parts and is slowly but surely being modernized. This process won’t be over just tomorrow while the Fenix Bus has only been developped straight for MSFS with the latest techniques from the start.

My very personal preference is anything with a yoke and some clunky procedures → B737, DC9, A310 etc.
