Yup. If you decide that you’ll be somewhat familiar but you’ll probably still have a bit of a learning curve to master. But even if you think you know everything about the plane (or any plane for that matter) there will always be something to learn 
Hardly, its possible to fly both with a joystick. Hundreds of thousands of people are capable of flying the boeing with your standard gaming joystick. I think the whole yoke vs joystick argument is frugal as i believe it comes how much realism you want and how much of a stickler you are about it. Not saying this as a bad thing but that does make up a percentage of the community too
