Which setting do I need to change so the cities/lights are not flickering in VR?

Hello,
after a long time I decided to fly in VR again (Rift S, RTX 2070S, i9-900KF). I have noticed that lights and cities are kind of flickering or glimmering/glittering (so at night everything looks like an airport as every city area or road is flashing) which is quite annoying. Does anyone know which setting I have to change in the graphics? Maybe I need to make the cities or objects sharper, any ideas which setting that’d be?

I didn’t had this the last time I flew in VR.

Thanks for any help

Not sure if it’s what you are referring to, but in my VR use case I find that TAA aliasing in VR graphics settings causes shimmering for me on objects, so I went with DLSS-Quality and the shimmering during daytime stopped and image looks better. The glass cockpit became a tiny bit fuzzy but I fixed that my increasing my headset resolution and I have run DLSS-Quality now for a long time and the outside visuals are more crisp, no shimmer, better FPS too as DLSS-Quality does downscale the resolution from where TAA has it. It’s worth a try to see if it helps your night time visuals.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I was referring to and I changed from FXAA to NVIDIA DLSS and the flimmering is gone now
