Which Ver. of MSFS to get?

I have the ‘Standard’ ver of FS I got with Gamepass, I am thinking of going with 'Deluxe or ‘Premium’ ver. Any recommendations? I hope to be playing around 30 hrs a week.

I got the Premium and that may allow you to get to 120 hrs a week instead! For me I wanted the 172 with steam gauges as that’s what I got my ticket in along with flights in the 152 which come in the deluxe and I was also interested in the SR22 which is only in Premium. Plus all the extra handcrafted airports and other fun aircraft that come out to a better value.

It depends on what you prefer to do and which aircraft you like. I use a lot of add-on aircraft and airports but still think the premium edition is well worth the money if you consider the thousands of hours entertainment you can get out of it. Also they announced they are going to improve the premium and deluxe aircraft, and upgrading to other versions is always more expensive.

I have the “Deluxe/Premium Edition” and am very happy with all the aircraft selections.

My recommendation would be to purchase the version which has the aircraft you are interested in, if you aren’t interested in a specific plane that comes with any of the versions then stick with what you have.

The Handcrafted Asobo airports, while, better than stock, aren’t that great and you’re better off putting that money into payware versions of scenery and aircraft.

Like @skypilotYTS said, choose based on the planes you want. I wanted the 172 Classic, SR22, Baron and Longitude. I ended up wiht the PD Edition.

Don’t buy based on airports. While a nice touch, most of the airports in the higher end editions aren’t that great compared to autogen, and many will have 3rd party versions (both paid and free) that are better.
