Which I believe is not true but even if it is, given their known practices, the mere fact installing the oculus tool on the computer gives already enough access to anything you could do outside the headset too. In other words, unless you really have all the assurance they won’t, given their business model, you can only assume they are doing. It is not unusual either: lately when you’d just launch the Zoom installer (not even installing it) it was already tapping into your system and sending data… But I’ll stop there, I just find claiming an empty account shields you from any of their activity on the computer doubtful until proven otherwise.
