It’s also not just about wanting to have a FB account or not. It’s my understanding that if you anger the wrong power hungry censorship specialist at FB and they permaban you, then “your” rift has just become a useless piece of plastic that can’t do anything more than hold paper in place.
I for one am not going to bet the future usability of a piece of hardware that I allegedly own in the hands of some power hungry FB employee who could delete my account simply for not hating a particular politician intensely enough.
