Here’s hoping that the dealy from the original launch date for SU6 has all or any bugs fixed and that we have back the level of detail we had before SU5. Fingers crossed.
Much easier to use MSFS Addons Linker to manage your addons - MSFS Addons Linker » Microsoft Flight Simulator
Just create a folder to hold them all and use the tool to turn them on and off as required using the links it creates in the Community Folder.
Also contains a couple of tools to check for and correct duplicated file names between mods, that are a frequent cause of CTDs.
Over 90,000 downloads can’t be wrong!
im looking forward to the wu6 i was hoping it would be a staged time release for each time zone almost 1am in uk if all trying to download at same time is going to chaos for server
Personal. Comments:
I’m looking forward to:
SR22 improvements per the 19-Aug Dev Blog notes
ATC altitude fix for radar calls
Hoped for but not likely:
Lights on AI Traffic
Fixed terrain spikes in my home area
Fingers crossed for a playable sim
Must definitely use this!
I want to see No more crashes ( get like 2 per hour in SU5 )
If there is nothing broken there will be no need for update to fix. It kinda defeats their purpose
Haha but that’s not how hype works! You have to be either hyped or not before you’ve used it… so out with it, are you excited or not?
Bad reputation because somebody high up wanted to push for a deadline? I don’t blame the devs for that. They deserve more praise in fact for all the work that has gone into this already.
All I want from WU6 is that they fix the ATC altitude problem. I have stopped simming since this “please expedite your climb” ■■■■ occurred …
The lights on traffic would be great. Hate not being able to see other aircraft at night.
Hyped?!? …more like terrified.
Someone know what time is the update coming out tomorrow?
More than likely, this new update is gonna bring about another set of bugs that everyone will complain about until October for SU6. At this point, I’m never excited about the possibility of an unplayable sim. Hate to sound so pessimistic, but history repeats itself when nothing changes. Hopefully I’m wrong and this update not only fixes things, but doesn’t introduce any new issues, but let’s look reality in the face…and know that something isn’t gonna work exactly to everyone’s liking.
I am hyped for it BUT…
I hope they fix vatsim lights
fix TAA & give us back grainless clouds (at least minimal grain like before)
and hope there are no core sim functionality breaking bugs.
Hope the delay helped
I cautiously optimistic the there will be improvements to fidelity. But I done think we will be back to SU4 levels until SU6.
I’m sure the new content will be interesting.
Ouch… calling me out! Careful, I am an author and might end up writing an essay. To be honest, I am no longer excited about any update, or hyped about it, experience has shown too many disappointments, and too many issues after every single occasion that Asobo puts their hands back into the mix to change something. I absolutely love this product, but not the Russian Roulette experience of its developmental methodology.
I know what you mean. I too am neutral here, neither too hyped nor too scared. We shall see what we see tomorrow.
Indeed we shall. But I will not be touching the sim until I have read a significant amount of feedback from those who have updated it. The only world update I was really excited for in advance was the UK. And it is currently ruined with great chunks of autogen buildings missing. Such experiences make it impossible to either have enthusiasm for an upcoming update, or trust in the company creating them.
