Who is playing the sim at this moment? CTD constantly!

8 hours of play since install - no CTDs here.

using liveries for the A320?

None here. Halfway between Aspen and Denver in the Caravan.

No add-ons. I’ll do that when the sim is more stable.

The bar is set pretty low now by a large segment of users. If it looks pretty at night I’ll give them a pass on the other stuff as an example.

BTW I agree with your point about the user group, wasn’t even mentioned on the latest developer update.

6 hours flights with

  • TBM (WT G3000 mod) OK;
  • CJ4(latest WT mod) OK;
  • Longitude OK;
  • 787(CTD x1; A/T not function at FL280; restarted > no issue for 3000+NM flight)
  • 747(salty mod) (press ā€˜L’ quickly few times will make cockpit view problem) OK;

sometimes ILS landing is tricky but it is manageable.

No A320 liveries. If people are having CTDs they should police their community folders - glancing at the posts above that does seem to be the major source of it.

Zero CTD’s today. No issue whatsoever.

Same here, had one single CTD since release, no issues in 2h simming time today.

I still have constant CTDs after the latest hot fix by using certain liveries (in my case for the A320)! frustrating when not knowing the reason for it! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The latest hotfix should fix that one.

Make sure:

  1. to clean all your caches, including your rolling cache (turn it back on after)

  2. move/rename your community folder, reinstall each mod to find if one is crashing the game. Because the game is still in heavy development, incompatibilities may arise from patch to patch. It is likely that we have to do that for the next 6 months unfortunately.

  3. that no other program or game is running. I’ve had CTD due to DCS World being open in the background (but no sim was running, just the lobby)

  4. if this doesn’t fix it, unplug all your devices but mouse/keybord and plug them again one by one

Thanks for your reply! Can you tell me how to clean the rolling cache?

And what do you mean by renaming the community folder?

  1. Options/data ā€œdelete rolling cacheā€. Turn it ON again.

  2. under windows or MacOS, rename the folder.
