Why didn’t Asobo give us a way to create wing views?

You can create 10 custom views per aircraft, and switch between them at a keystroke. It’s very easy to do.

The configuration is stored in a text file, but you do not need to touch that file if you don’t want to. It’s all driven through the keyboard.

So if I were doing it I would position the camera where I wanted it, then hit the sequence to store that position as custom camera 1, then repeat for the other side in camera 2. I could then use the sequence to switch between those views at will, and probably store those as a hotkey on my Streamdeck.

By default, CTRL+ALT+1 will save to custom camera 1, and ALT+1 will load that view. These sequences can also be customised. So if you set them up on the keyboard, you could change the button to recall them to a joystick button, hat switch, and so on.
