Why do major bugs only appear after Sim Updates, not discovered in Beta Testing?

Each bug I mentioned:

  • is acknowledged (meaning, reproduced by the devs)
  • did not exist in beta testing
  • was introduced directly after beta testing
  • all 3 prevent using MSFS on Xbox
  • taken together form a pattern of sim-breaking bugs being introduced by changes after testing.

The purpose of this thread is to highlight the pattern, and ask the devs to consider their process. I’m sure they do not intend to break MSFS for Xbox, however, that is the end result, 3 Sim Updates in a row.

I understand that the dev environment is an Xbox emulator, not an actual xbox, which could be the real issue here. So if they can’t “Alpha Test” on Xbox, why are they not using the Beta - which pushes the code on to volunteer user Xboxes with automatic telemetry and data collection - to test all the code before final release?? That’s my point - after Beta testing, they are introducing something untested, which breaks MSFS on Xbox, 3 times in a row, and acknowledged by the devs.
