Not sure if this is the correct strategy, their might be pilots or controllers with some programming skills, vice versa there might be some programmers knowing a thing or two about flying or ATC, but to find someone professional in both areas is probably very difficult. They somehow need to find a way to bridge the gap in knowledge between professionals in the aviation industry and themselves.
