Why can I only see very few missions while in freelance mode, while I have uncloked 6 different missions in employee mode?
After you get a new certification or specialization, it will pop up a new mission for it somewhere on the globe, and usually not in your local area. It’ll be indicated by a solid gold diamond (some translucent gold diamonds may exist that you haven’t met qualifications for). Find that and fly that mission, which then fully unlocks it everywhere.
It’s not well explained in the sim, and I was on about the fifth or sixth cert before I figured it out.
I have unlocked many while in employee mode. Do I have to do it again in freelance mode? The yellow diamonds do not pop up while in freelance.
Each company specializes in its own flight types. Cargo, VIP Charter, etc. So, you’ll have to start another Company if you want to do something outside of Flightseeing.

I had the same question. I don’t understand why you need different companies to do different types of missions but now that I understand, it’s not such a hassle.
No reason to feel that way. This whole thing is “undocumented”. Glad we have a forum full of people willing to figure it out together.
